PROJECT SHIELD

Slide1.JPG

Miriam College, as a women’s college and guided by the values are truth, justice, peace, and integrity of creation is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all its students. We cannot sacrifice or endanger students who may be vulnerable survivors by rendering them invisible, minimizing, or denying their pleas for help and assistance. Project Shield, therefore, will act as a source of support, information, motivation, inspiration, and empowerment brought to the students, online, through posters or GCO posts and other appropriate school support services.

Acknowledgement goes to student advocates of violence against women and children who helped the Guidance and Counseling Office come up with the name Project Shield for its student protection program: Vianca Joven, Julia Madulid, Angel Martinez, Charlese Pascual, and Nadine Yap.

Thank you also for the campaign posters.
