MC Wellness zone

Whenever young people display signs of emotional difficulties, referring them for therapeutic assistance is what comes to mind instantly. They are never shown or taught about how they can assist themselves first or even develop preventive habits for life.

 

There are several ways we can do this. In order to better manage well-being, the techniques being shared here are meant as suggestions. It is up to you to determine what is helpful for you and learn to build on them for psychological health and wellness.

 

The exercises, however, are not a substitution for seeing a mental health specialist. It is also good to receive professional support during extreme situations.

 

This MC wellness zone was developed by the HEU Guidance and  Counseling Office with the help of teens who are managing their own emotions with their Counselor and who have found particular activities and other information, herein, useful.
